Your time and money are valuable to us, and we want to give you the best, long-lasting mani and pedi we can. Not to get too technical, but nails are porous like a sponge and water expands the nail plate. Your cuticles absorb water, causing them to peel back faster and crack, which means your nail polish chips earlier when your nails are soaked. Waterless manicures last longer than normal manicure/pedicure procedures by preventing this pre-nail cracking. We want to see you as often as possible, but not because your nails chipped or peeled!
Clique strives to do what we can, when we can, to help conserve and recycle. On average, a waterless pedicure can save anywhere from 12 to 15 gallons of water per service—which, when multiplied over the number of treatments a salon does in a day, can add up to a lot of wasted water!
Clique strives to be as clean and safe in our practice and products as possible. Being waterless lowers the risk of water-borne infection and bacteria, as well as exposure to harmful chemicals used to clean pedicure bowls and chairs.
We aren’t perfect here at Clique, but we will always try to do what we can, when we can, and work with like minded companies taking small steps to make a bigger impact.
